TMJ Treatment

Dr. Clister is extensively trained and experienced in treatment of temporomandibular joint dysfunction. Symptoms of TMJ dysfunction include: Pain, tenderness, swelling or tiredness in the face and jaw joint area; pain or tenderness in the neck, shoulders, in or near the ear; Clicking, popping, or grating sounds in the jaw joint which may be accompanied by pain; Difficulty chewing, a sudden uncomfortable bite, limited ability to open the mouth wide, sticking or locking in the open or closed position; Other common symptoms of TMJ dysfunction include toothaches, headaches, dizziness, hearing problems, and ringing in the ears (tinnitus).
